G Paul Doxey, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He earned a medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery at the same institution.
He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy Sleep Medicine, American Rhinology Society, Utah Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the Utah Medical Association.
Dr. Doxey has been President of the Utah Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Surgery. He has also been President of the Washington County Medical Society twice. Dr. Doxey started the Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic of St. George which provides free medical care to uninsured and low income patients. The Clinic has been operating since 1999 and Dr. Doxey currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
He has a private pilot’s license and enjoys flying in his spare time, as well as traveling and spending time with his family. He also plays guitar in his band, the Rok Dox, a local rock band composed mostly of doctors. Dr. Doxey’s area of special interest is Medical Otolaryngology.
